Akon wizkid and 2faceA few days after Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie cleared the air that he wasn’t signed to Senegalese International R&B superstar, Akon’s label, news coming in from Nigeria suggests that the Konvict Music boss may have made his most authoritative African signing yet.

Over the weekend, Akon revealed to pressmen at Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha’s CLUB 10 that he has signed Nigerian acts Wizkid, 2face, P-Square to his Konvict Music label. Akon later shared the news with his followers on Twitter as follows “In Nigeria with my brothers about to take over Africa with @2faceidibia and @wizkidayo big up to P-square”.
