Carranzer Naa Okailey Shooter wins Miss Ghana 2012
Carranzer Naa Okailey Shooter, a 22 year-old medical student of the University of Ghana, has been crowned Miss Ghana 2012. Shooter shot past seventeen other gorgeous ladies to win the coveted title, and one-year bragging right as Miss Ghana. She will represent Ghana at next year’s Miss World contest, to be held in Indonesia. Nadia Ntanhu and Jennifer Aku Annan placed second and third respectively. All three winners drive home luxurious cars from Hyundai. While Shooter gets to keep her car, the two others would use theirs officially for a year. The first three winners will also benefit from other attractive prizes including cash, and souvenirs from sponsors among other exciting prizes that formed part of this year’s unprecedented package. All other contestants will also benefit from the mouthwatering package. Rounding up the Top 5 finalists were Sung Maryanne Billey, who won Miss Congeniality and Roseline Okoro, who also won Miss SMS Queen on the night. This year’s finals featured performances from international music star Asa, Efya, Sherifa Gunu, and Gyedu Blay Ambolley. Nigerian comedian Basket Mouth was also on hand to treat the audience to some good comedy. Miss Ghana 2012 was powered by Exclusive Events Ghana and supported by Manet Properties, Auto Plaza Ltd, Reflexion Hair Care, FC Skin & Beauty Klinik, Special Ice Mineral Water, Africa Cola, Fidelity Bank, Whirlpool, Accents & Arts, TT Brothers, Edern Security and Intercom Programming & Manufacturing Company Limited (IPMC).
