fake lexis billA 27 year old young man has been arrested by the Nima Divisional Police Command for allegedly impersonating host of The Challenge Season 4 and former host of Hitz FM’s morning show, Kwame Sakyiamah, known in showbiz circles as Lexis Bill on social media. Isaac Otabil, a resident of Akim Oda in the Eastern Region, was arrested in Accra on Friday after months of investigation. Police sources confirmed that Isaac had opened an account on a social network called ‘Eskimi’ with the name Lexis Bill and contained personal information of Hitz Fm’s morning show host and his pictures which were updated on his official Facebook account. He therefore used the account to represent the radio presenter who had no idea such an account existed. Isaac’s victims, mainly women had no idea they were dealing with another person and he managed to lure some of them into virtual relationships and make demands from them. On his part, Kwame Sakyiamah confirmed the story indicating that he received several reports on his Facebook page about a certain account on eskimi being managed in his name and hence that made him lodge a formal complaint with the police. The collaboration between the victims and the Police CID aided in the arrest of Isaac Otabil who has now been charged with impersonation and is being prepared for court.]]>
