Playbook Hub, a buzzing on-demand booking platform, announced what could easily be termed as the world’s largest digital talent competition, at South by Southwest, SXSW 2019.
The Project Playbook competition is offering budding artists and performers around the globe the chance to win $100,000 to turn their side hustle into a full-time gig. Interested artist can log on to www.project-playbook.com to submit a two-minute demo of their artistry and stand a chance in the draw. Submissions run till end of March 2019.
The Playbook Hub platform has figured out the prime execution formula for simple, efficient and transparent creator-client connections and on-demand bookings.
Simply, the app is free and there is no fee for artists to sign up. The only time that Playbook takes money is in the form of a 5% fee from successful bookings, which is remarkably low in the creative industry, according to Creative Lead, Mike Sharman.
He adds, “The Playbook Hub focuses three elements key to an artists’ life, that is the efficiency, the growth and development, and the transparency. This is the platform that allows you to get booked by people looking to book talents anywhere in the world, whether in your market or not; whether they are booking you for a festival, a corporate gig or somebody’s birthday party. Playbook Hub gives you the opportunity, as an artist to be booked and for a booker or agent or manager of an event to find some talent to be at their event.”
Playbook Hub has grown from the wild passion point of founder Rudi Pienarr to a platform with some 13,000 users from around 114 countries globally, and exploding across North America..
