Ghanaian singer Mzbel has revealed that contrary to people’s belief that she betrayed Ace Broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah, that is not the case.

According to the “16 years” singer, the rift between Nana Aba and her seems to be coming from a man, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, co-founder of now collapsed UT Bank.

In an interview with Mona Gucci on the “Link Up” show, the now entrepreneur explained that she believes Nana Aba has some animosity towards her because she thinks she may have taken her boyfriend (Prince Kofi Amoabeng) from her.

Mzbel however explained that the relationship between Nana Aba and Prince Kofi Amoabeng had ended before she came into the picture.

“I didn’t know about Kofi and Nana Aba’s relationship. Nana and Kofi were dating, she even had a neck chain with Kofi’s name on it. That was around the time UT Bank was popular.

“Their relationship ended before I came into the picture. I was never friends with Nana Aba until me and Kofi started going out and then one time she invited me on her show. After the show she pinned me to tell me we had a mutual friend (Prince Kofi Amoabeng).

“I think the whole issue became public because we were both public figures. But whatever the situation, I thin she should have been matured about it. You people were done before I came into the picture,” she told host.

When asked by the host whether she thinks that could be the reason Nana Aba is acting cold towards her, Mzbel replied that she believes it could be the only reason since she and Nana Aba were never friends in the beginning.
