For 17-year-old Jeif Annie, she had no idea recording a song to feel good on her birthday would make her go viral, but it did, and she’s all sorts of proud.

The Wesley Girls Senior High School student only started writing music about 3 years ago and is already set to become a household name.

With two reigning songs “Birthday girl” and “Yawa,” Jeif Annie hopes to inspire through her music.

The budding singer joined us in the studio of Ameyaw TV to promote her video for “Yawa.”

“Yawa” which was directed by Kwame Nfoni, talks about a young girl who was contemplating on either going for ‘APOR’ or burning the midnight candle and also depending on God.
