Wendy Shay threatens to take the FDA and Gaming commission to the Human Rights Court
Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay has asked fellow celebrities in Ghana to rally behind and fight the system.
Today, the Gaming Commission of Ghana in a document shared online, banned celebrities from endorsing betting companies.
“operators shall not use celebrities in their advertisements to entice the general public to gamble,” a section of the document stipulated.
Wendy Shay, who is not so very pleased about the situation in a tweet, asked that celebrities come together to fight because they were being denied of income.
“GH Celebs can we put our differences aside and fight the system ?? I guess we don’t know how powerful we are ,” she tweeted.
She also threatened to take the FDA and Gaming Commission to court.
“Well I’m taking the FDA and Gaming commission to the Human Rights Court Celebs are also Ghanaians and deserve better !! Ghana wake Up !!” she added.
