Urgent: Uplift your Fashion Sense this Holiday Season By Adding 10 Outfits to Your Closet

Men often get a bad rap for being less fashionable than women, and it is their fault since most men don’t even try to look stylish. You wouldn’t see a man reading about changing fashion trends like women do because men tend to be conservative in their clothes. This is the reason why we see more women in fashion shows than men.

However, it is equally important for men to look stylish and present their A-game in fashion just like women. Men need to understand the importance of style, men who strive to dress better bring out their best and encourage other men to look as classy as them.

The only situations in which we see most men being dressed well are either attending a formal occasion or going out on a date. They do this because not only do they want to impress other people, but they also want to strengthen their confidence. However, things have changed since the pandemic, the fashion world has completely changed, and men now understand the importance of looking good more than ever.

Holidays and Men’s Fashion

The pandemic taught us to live to its fullest and always present ourselves in the best way possible, and since the holiday season is just around the corner, there could be no better time to bring out our best style. This holiday season dressing well can become an essential aspect for men from all over the world, and if you are a man, you too will get a chance to look dapper holiday occasions such as Christmas, New Year, and thanksgiving.

Since you would have a packed schedule and so many essential commitments where you would want to look chic, we have prepared a guide that will help you add ten-holiday outfits that will make you look contemporary.

  1. A Weather-ready Parka with Slim Fit Bottoms

Since winters are almost here, most of our outfits would consist of excellent layering items that would keep us warm during this festive season and help achieve that voguish look. A Parka was initially made from seal skin and is still used for warm and safe hunting in Arctic temperatures, but many things have been trending no matter how non-conventional they were initially.

A Parka comes in numerous styles, but the ones that would look best on you this winter season are the minimalist ones and those with clean lines. The best thing about a parka is that you can stuff a pile of sweaters and scarves beneath a parka, and no one would notice.

A parka comes in different sizes, but the ones that are classier than the rest is the one that ends just above your waist. The most suitable clothes with a parka would be a turtleneck, a scarf, slim-fit jeans, and thick worker boots.

  1. Winter Coat and Fit Bottoms

This outfit is for people who want to look brighter and sharper than everyone else in the room. The outfit is straightforward to carry as all you need is a winter coat that is neither too big for you nor too short; the coat wouldn’t only provide a classy look and help you combat the cold. It would be best if the skin is waterproof as you would be facing wet conditions during this winter season.

Beneath the coat, you can wear a long-sleeve t-shirt for added protection and because the tee will stick to your body much better. Below those skin-fit jeans are vital because they make your legs more visible and provide a sharp look; in the end, you would be walking on snow and need something waterproof.

  1. Denim on Denim

Denim jackets look incredibly cool on men, but there could be no better combo than a denim jacket with denim jeans. Although a denim jacket would not suit sub-zero weather conditions but still in chilly weather, it can give you a sleek look.

A denim top with a denim bottom goes perfectly when the bottom is of a darker shade, and the top is of a lighter shade. A dark base helps make your body look slimmer, and a light top can help you draw attention to yourself.

  1. The Work from Home Outfit

During the pandemic, the virus forced the world to work from home, and during these work hours, everyone had to attend zoom meetings. These zoom meetings would only show our tops, and most people took advantage of this as they wore shorts and sweatpants with their dressy tops.

Wearing a WFH outfit this holiday would let you be relaxed yet comfortable; you can wear any shirt or sweater with a relaxed-fit chino instead of sweatpants. The chino would give you a relaxed look, whereas the top would define your style. The thing goes on with this outfit, but the outfit gets a little more polished as people would see us entirely from top to bottom.

Since you keep it relaxed at the bottom, you can wear sneakers and joggers for a simple style.

  1. The Winter Workout Outfit

During this holiday season, owning a winter workout outfit is a must for most men. The purpose of a workout outfit is to make you look fit and to be extremely lightweight. Since the holidays would be in the cold season, you wouldn’t have to wear shorts to replace them with leggings. The top would consist of an excellent graphic t-shirt and a stretchy and lightweight puffer jacket.

  1. The All-White Look

An all-white outfit is considered boring, but that is because most people don’t know how to carry it. It would be best to try to incorporate different textures since a monochromatic look can turn boring; you should also try to break it up with accessories such as scarves and add neutrals. The best combination in an all-white look includes a white coat, formal white trousers, and white shoes. White represents perfection and cleanliness, and there could be no better time to express such things than a holiday.

  1. The Christmas Party Outfit

The Christmas party is one of the most significant events of every holiday season. What could be better than a classy Christmas outfit with a primary red sweater, blue jeans, and brown Chelsea boots? The red sweater is one of the main things you can wear this holiday and especially on Christmas; the sweater should also have some exciting designs and textures so you can attract people and stand out from other men.

  1. A Leather Jacket with Literally Anything

A leather jacket has been the oldest and most versatile piece of clothing ever to exist, this classy and timeless fashion staple can make anyone look good, and you can pair it with anything. Adding a leather jacket to your wardrobe this winter season would mean that you can have a rugged and manly style at every party and every occasion.

One fantastic thing about wearing a leather jacket is that you can also wear custom leather jackets with different styles and graphics. A tailored coat would define your style and separate you from everyone in a unique way.

  1. The Safari Park Look

This holiday season, you can do something different as the safari park look would help you achieve a quirky look. This outfit would look the best during the daytime, to achieve this look you can wear a double pocket shirt and it would be best if it’s green. Below that, you can wear a rolled-up beige chino and a pair of casual shoes. You can also enhance this outfit with dark-colored scarves and hats.

  1. The Athleisure Wear

This holiday outfit is a must for your wardrobe as it has been trending for a long time now; the word Athleisure comes from athletic and leisure, and the purpose of this outfit is to involve both aspects in an attire. This outfit has gained immense popularity because it allows you to look fantastic and feel comfortable at the same time.

Adding an Athleisure outfit to your wardrobe for holidays means that you will feel more active and healthy when you wear it. You can wear an overcoat with relaxed sweatpants and sweatshirts.

Final Note

These were some of the best holiday outfits that you can add to your wardrobe. However, it is not mandatory that you strictly follow these outfits. All you need to do is to keep practicing and wear costumes that would represent your style.

What Are the Best Dipping Sauces for Your Burger King Chicken Nuggets?

If you do a survey or check online reviews regarding the chicken nuggets from Burger King, you won’t really find too many people saying it’s the absolute best. It’s not that bad, but plenty of other brands offer better chicken nuggets.

What it is, however, is affordable. On average, the Burger King 10 pc. chicken nuggets cost $1.54 only, and that’s an extremely low price. When you consider that a 4-piece order of chicken nuggets here cost a reasonable $1.26, then the math doesn’t make sense. That means 8 pieces cost $2.52, but order 2 more pieces and you reduce the price.

Some pundits say that Burger King actually takes a short-term loss for each order of the 10-piece nuggets, simply to attract more patrons to their restaurants. Once they’re there, then they would have to order more from the menu, and those items are more profitable. And if these visitors happen to order the addictive Whooper, then Burger King has another loyal fan for life.

But the Burger King Nuggets are a lot better when you combine them with the right dipping sauce. There are only 6 dipping sauces available, so you won’t be overwhelmed with too many choices. It won’t take you too long to find out which dipping sauce matches your taste.

Which ones should you try first? Here is the list of Burger King dipping sauces, listed according to good they are (at least, on our opinion).

This dipping sauce is a classic for a reason, and just about every fast-food joint has its own version of it. It’s hard to beat when you get the formula right, and Burger King clearly knew what it was doing when they came up with their deep brown version of the BBQ sauce.

At first taste, it’s sweet. Then you get that strong, aftertaste of smoke that seems to urge you to get another nugget and dip some more into this sauce. It’s like eating a single potato chip—you just want more after each bite.

Obviously, it’s not exactly a unique flavor, but the Burger King version of the BBQ dipping sauce is just about perfect. Try this one first, and then compare the others to it as you go through all the dipping sauces. You just may find that this first dipping sauce is the right one for you.

This ranking may seem surprising for some people, who have tried the Buffalo dipping sauces from other fast-food restaurants. The problem is that in those places, their Buffalo dipping sauce seems like it’s the worst option among their dipping sauce line up. They’re not that good.

But they’re good if you get the dipping sauce from Burger King. In fact, many say that this bright orange sauce is their favorite.

That color is the result of mixing several hot spices together, using a creamy base. The end result is a Goldilocks-blend of vinegar and spiciness. It’s just right.

Sure, the heat of the spices is there. You’ll notice it, though it’s not really that strong. But it’s not too weak that the tangy vinegar taste can just overcome it. it’s a perfect balance. Try it, and the Buffalo may just end up as your favorite as well.

Honey Mustard

This is a reliable sauce that rarely offends anyone—most people will say it’s good. Kids love it because of the sweetness, and admittedly some adults may find it a bit too sweet. But that level of sweetness actually makes a good match with the somewhat sour taste of the mustard. It’s another example of a good “sweet and sour” pairing.

It’s perfectly fine, though not many will regard this as their favorite. It would have been a bit better if it had some spiciness to bring to the party. In any case, it’s still good.

It’s a creamy sauce with a somewhat orange-y hue, and it’s very creamy. The taste is somewhat hard to describe, admittedly. Even after several dips into the sauce, and it’s still not easy to find the right words for it. The closest we can come close to describing this is to say that it’s somewhat like Thousand Island dressing, but with a small spicy kick in the end that tastes like horseradish.

Yep, the Zesty dipping sauce is great for those who are feeling brave. Who know, maybe you can describe it better than we can.

Sweet and Sour

Not all that many people are impressed by this, even though is certainly looks great. It has the sweetness, but not enough of the “sour” factor. It tastes dull after all the other options, but maybe you’ll have a different opinion.

Somehow, this tastes just like all the other Ranch dipping sauces that the other fast-food joints offer. It’s not bad, with the tang of the creamy buttermilk pairing nicely with the garlicky taste. But it’s just your regular Ranch dipping sauce.

Final Words

Yours is the only opinion that matters here, so start trying out all these dipping sauces!

NBA: Ranking the Top 10 Rivalries in NBA History

The NBA has no shortage of exciting storylines, and rivalries have always made watching basketball more exciting than it already is. Some of these rivalries have defined careers and all of them have contributed to the NBA’s illustrious history.

Here are the top 10 rivalries in NBA history:

  1. Los Angeles Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings

In the early 2000’s, the Sacramento Kings were one of the most formidable teams in the West, and posed one of the biggest threats to the Lakers dynasty helmed by Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.

The Kings came close to preventing the Kobe and Shaq from ever accomplishing a three-peat in the controversial 2002 Western Conference Finals, where the Sacramento squad led by Chris Webber took the Lakers to seven games but eventually lost. To this day, you can find basketball fans claiming that the Kings were robbed, but the challenge they posed to the Lakers is in itself already an astonishing feat.

  1. Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James

There’s no dispute that LeBron James is the greatest player of his generation, and the undisputed best player in the league for much of the 2010s. But there’s also no denying that Kevin Durant posed the biggest threat to the King’s throne, and some might argue that Durant has taken the top spot at this point in time.

James and Durant met in the playoffs for the first time during the 2012 Finals, where LeBron’s Miami Heat defeated Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder. Durant however got his retribution with the Golden State Warriors, beating LeBron’s Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals. With LeBron’s Lakers and Durant’s Nets now being among the frontrunners for the 2022 Championship, is another NBA Finals showdown in the horizon?

  1. Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

The back-to-back NBA Finals bouts between the Heat and the San Antonio Spurs in 2013 and 2014 were among the most compelling playoff series in recent history.

With one team vying to establish a new dynasty and with the other looking to remain dominant, the Finals matchups between the Heat and the Spurs made for multiple career-defining moments, and it seems only right that the teams tied at 1-1 in their Finals matchups.

  1. Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs

From the end of the 90’s to the end of the 2010’s, the Western Conference were basically owned by these teams. Except for 2006 when the Dallas Mavericks made the Finals, all NBA Finals series from 1999 to 2010 featured either the Lakers or the Spurs.

With seemingly divergent approaches to the game, watching battles between the flashy Lakers and the methodical Spurs was always an experience for any basketball fan.

  1. Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics

During the earlier days of the NBA, Philadelphia and Boston vied for supremacy in the Eastern Conference, and the rivalry transcended generations.

Whether it was Russell versus Chamberlain or Bird versus Erving, a Celtics and Sixers game always presented thrills, and the tension was always palpable in the building.

  1. Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

In the late 2010s, it was almost a foregone conclusion that these two teams would face off in the NBA Finals. Both teams traded blows in 2015 and 2016, with the latter year bearing witness to perhaps the greatest comeback in all of sports.

Although the battle eventually became lopsided in favor of Golden State when they signed Kevin Durant, watching LeBron James’s Cavaliers duel with the Warriors made for must-see television.

  1. Bill Russell vs. Wilt Chamberlain

No other two centers were at odds in their generation, or perhaps in any generation, than Russell and Chamberlain. Both players were undeniably the best at their positions during their time.

While Russell wins the championship conversation, thanks in no small part to his prolific supporting cast, Chamberlain was the statistical juggernaut who set records that are yet to be beaten up to this day.

  1. Michael Jordan vs. Detroit Pistons

Michael Jordan didn’t come out of the gate dominating the entire NBA. The young Jordan had to surmount the Detroit Pistons first before he became the legend that he is.

The Detroit Pistons’ infamous “Jordan Rules” posed a huge threat to Jordan during his early years, but Jordan eventually prevailed and it was after beating the Pistons in the playoffs when Jordan ascended to another level towards becoming the GOAT.

  1. Magic Johnson vs. Larry Bird

Two players whose careers were seemingly intertwined since their college days, Magic and Bird’s fierce duels brought millions of viewers to the NBA, and made the 1980s a great time to be a basketball fan.

Magic and Bird’s battles in the NBA Finals is the stuff of legend nowadays, and their rivalry is only eclipsed by that of their own teams.

  1. Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics

It’s no surprise that the top rivalry in NBA history is between the two winningest franchises in the NBA. NBA Finals showdowns between these two teams always brought the intensity, and the rivalry has been ongoing for generations.

The Lakers are one ring away from tying Boston’s 17 championships, and although the Lakers are currently favorites for the title, the Celtics’ young core shows a lot of promise, and it’s not far from possible to see a Finals rematch between these two teams in the near future.

13 Ghanaian street food vendors to compete in the maiden edition of ‘’StreetFoodz Ghana” docu-reality series

The “Street Foodz Ghana” is a new docu-reality platform that seeks to appreciate and showcase the authentic Ghanaian street food and its vendors to boost tourism.

Maxima Media, the owners of FoodBay TV and the creators and curators of StreetFoodz Naija, arguably Africa’s largest food docu-reality series, have expanded their tentacles on the continent with the arrival of StreetFoodz Ghana. The show was officially launched on Thursday, October 21, 2021, during a press conference and was highlighted by the announcement of Gino brand as the headline sponsor.

The debut episode of the show, which will be aired via AdomTV – 5:30pm (Saturday), MaxTV – 6:30pm (Saturday), Joy Prime – 6:00pm (Saturday) and GHone- 6.30pm (Sunday) on 30th October 2021, will carry compelling and exciting content and celebrate (among others) a diverse range of street food vendors who are often overlooked by mainstream media.

Out of 100 and more entries made, 13 Ghana’s best food vendors who qualified to partake in the main hottest food contest ever will compete for the Grand prize worth GHc 50,000, GHc 20,000 and GHc 10, 000 including bragging rights, the crown and the grand title of “King of Street foods in Ghana” — putting a lively culinary culture, unique palates, and frequently strange civilizations to the test.

The show will also explore the street foods and its vendors from across the capital. Archival footage is combined with face-to-face interviews and follows street food chefs and their history, which is intertwined with the big picture of how influential street food is on their native country.

Speaking at the official press launch held at the Alisa Hotel, Ghana, Georgina Abbam- Baidoo Amfo, Project manager, Street Foodz Ghana said: “We used this opportunity to take a tour around the country to select 13 street food vendors who would be trained for 13 weeks. The winner will be coming out as the Street Food King in Ghana and will also get his/her aerial space renovated, an SMS tool kit (branding), and a promotional video for advertising.”

Akua Obiri-Yeboah, Marketing director, GB foods Ghana declared her entity’s unflinching support towards this move since contestants and to a large extent, Street Food Chefs rely on their brand to serve millions of consumers.

“We felt this was a very good platform because the people we are targeting rely on our products and brands to feed millions of consumers. And based on the idea and discussion we had, we felt it was a good way to reach out to the food service outlets out there. We wanted to be part of it to let them know we place high value on them for patronizing our brand. We are looking forward to having engaging and exciting experience with the team at street food and vendors.”

Olufemi Ogundoro, Managing Director of Maxima Media Group also said the move is in line with the vision of FoodBay TV to put African food on the world food map.

“Food Bay TV is a dedicated platform which focuses primarily of food and lifestyle and showcases the best of African foods to the rest of the world. Ghana has the best culture appreciation in Africa. Ghanaians are proud of their heritage and equally proud of their food. That is why we have this platform to able to showcase the best Ghanaian street food, elevating the standards and majorly boosting tourism.”

Launched in 2019, Street Foodz show is aimed at promoting local cuisine, as well as supporting entrepreneurs in the food sector and rebranding street foods. Just like the maiden edition, and the subsequent one, the 30 minutes televised and digitally transmitted docu-reality series will showcase the best of Africa’s street food delicacies.

The series is unlike any popular Hollywood love story. It dabbles in a rather unconventional twist in a lady’s quest to find love amidst betrayals and heartbreaks. She ignores the red flags and warnings from her friends and family of the absurdity of finding love on a reality show. Though they are vehemently against this, she goes ahead to personally host an auditioning for a selection of 15 men to contest in what she terms ‘an in-house competition’ in the hope of finding her one true love. The eviction process involves a true test of the competitors’ personalities in the most engaging ways possible. She is provided in-house support by her trusted friends, and the twists and turns bring an all-round overwhelming reality TV series experience.

The reality TV series will be officially premiered as a red-carpet event on 19th December 2021 in Accra, Ghana at the SNAP Cinemas (Accra City Hall).
