Although some citizens believed strongly that all the ‘charity’ work that was being done by actor John Dumelo during the campaign season was for the sole purpose of getting him into office, he has proven them wrong.

After loosing out on the highly contested Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary seat, John Dumelo has stuck to his plan of helping and donating items to people in need.

Yesterday the actor donated a brand new laptop to a student of the Ghana Medical School.

The student, John Yao Avu appealed for a computer on Twitter to aid in his studies and it was brought to the attention of Dumelo through one McJordan Dagadjor.

” Donated a laptop to John Yao Avu of the Ghana Medical School in Korle-Bu today. This is to aid him in his studies. Thanks @MacJordaNfor sharing Yao’s story. Together let’s make Ghana a better place. #istilldey4u,” John tweeted after meeting Avu.
