20 years ago, my mom had to sell her ticket to London to pay my school fees- Yemi Alade reveals
Financial struggles amongst other things are some of the things a lot of celebrities have in common, and the recent person to share hers is Nigerian singer Yemi Alade.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, 23 February, 2020, the “Shekere” singer revealed how her mum had to forfeit flying to London by selling her ticket so she could pay for her fees in school.
According to Yemi, this event will always make London memorable to her.
“London is more than just a City to my family, it Marks a time in our lives(20yrs ago) when mum had to sell her Economy class ticket to pay my Primary 6 school fees.Today we Fly first Class!🌠🌠✈✈, she captioned a photo of she and her mom.
