Xandy called me a prostitute and I needed to teach her a lesson- Salma Mumin

A few weeks ago, Ghanaian actress, Salma Mumin slapped Xandy Kamel and Angel TV with a suit for making defamatory comments about her.

According to a writ dated May 24th, 2020, which has been served to the defendants, Xandy Kamel made some unpleasant remarks about Salma Mumin on the “Yenom Tea” show on Angel TV in March, 2021.

In an interview yesterday on Accra FM with Nana Romeo Welewele, Salma stated that she was shocked when she saw the video in which Xandy made the damning comments about her in.

According to her, Xandy called her a prostitute even though Xandy Kamel does not know who she is or what she does.

“I was stunned. I was shocked. I mean you don’t know me. You don’t know what I do. All I have done my entire life since I got to Accra is to work 24/7. So it really hurts me when someone tells me this is what I do…Indirectly she was calling me a prostitute.”

She continued;

“People are really taking advantage of our silence as celebrities. I needed to do something about this so that next time if people will be careful about the things they say.”
