2018 Ghana Music Awards 2018 Ghana Music Awards[/caption] The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, touted to be one of the biggest Awards Events in Africa is definitely a not to be missed affair which once a year catapults our beloved Musicians into the limelight amidst pomp and splendour, oohs and aahs, cheers, jeers and applause…such is the Drama of the Festival! Call it the Grammy’s of West Africa and you most probably could be right! So don’t be surprised when on Sunday, 4th March 2018 you wake up to tweets, posts, rants, cheers and all manner of sentiments! Why? Because by close of day on Saturday 3rd March 2018, we will all get to know which of your favourite artistes have made it to that enviable shortlist and earned a nomination in the 19th edition of Ghana’s most respected awards scheme, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. This year’s event which is themed, “Music Beyond Borders” is designed to inspire Ghanaian Musicians and music industry players to aspire toward making strong influences globally with their music and artistry. As structured and done over the years, organizers Charterhouse, in partnership with the recently announced media partners Media General, will release the various nominees for the various categories hourly on Media General platforms including TV3, 3FM, Akoma FM, Connect FM, Onua FM and on Charterhouse, Ghana Music Awards and Vodafone social media handles, walls and pages. All categories will be unveiled from 10am through to 3pm except for Song of the Year, Album of the Year and the overall Artiste of the Year which will be unveiled at the Nominees Announcement Party later in the evening.
