Music Group, Keche has been in the music industry for a number of years now, and for a lot of artistes, they were afraid to retire without ever receiving the most prestigious award in Ghana, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Made up of Andrew and Joshua, the duo in an interview with Joy News’ Ibrahim Ben-Bako expressed their thrill at winning two awards at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

According to the “No dulling” hitmakers, who picked up the “Group of the Year” and “Hip-Life Song of the Year,” at the VGMAs, they have been looking forward to picking up the best group award for a very long time.

“I was asking my colleague that, so are we going to grow up one day retire from music and if I tell my kids that we were a duo and they ask me what is there to show for it was I am I going to say,” Andrew said in the interview.

“Yes with Ghana music awards, especially the best group of the year it is the award that we were looking for all these years, that’s what defines Keche and VGMA is the biggest. So when I heard them shout Keche I started screaming, I was like God thank you, this is our first time we really appreciate it,” he added.
