Trending: Yaw Tog in hot waters for saying he made Stormzy popular in Ghana

Ghanaian rapper, Yaw Tog is trending this morning on Twitter for asserting that he made British Rapper Stormzy more popular in Ghana.

Yaw Tog got a feature from the Award-winning British Rapper on his “Sore” remix which caught the attention of drill music lovers world-wide.

In a recent interview with MzGee on TV3, Yaw Tog stated that the collaboration did magic to both their names and brands.

Yaw Tog was responding to a question by MzGee as to whether he thinks Stormzy made him more popular or the other way round.

According to MzGee, there is a perception in Ghana that Stormzy made Yaw Tog more popular after the feature.

Responding to the claims, Yaw Tog stated;

“He made me more poplar in this market but I made him popular here too because people did not know Stormzy in Ghana too. So we both did made magic to ourselves and our brands.”
