What about 9-year-old Susan? Berla Mundi questions brands as they throw support for Oswald

Published

On Air Personality, Berla Mundi is not happy that 9-year-old Susan, who wants to be a Mechanical Engineer in the future, is not getting the recognition and support she deserves to fulfil her dreams.

Berla Mundi’s concerns comes following 9-year-old Oswald Gennuh’s viral “Our Day” note, which captured the hearts of big brands in Ghana.

Oswald, a student of the Christ Ambassadors school in Dansoman, wrote a seven-point note to his mom on what he expected on his big day which has since gone viral.

Oswald’s note garnered him support from big brands and media including Joy FM, Pulse Ghana, KFC Ghana, Dominos Pizza, Pizza Hut, Access Dental, Ashesi University and a host of others.

Reacting to the support Oswald’s gesture has landed him, Berla Mundi, who interviewed and threw a spotlight on little Susan on her show on TV3, wants to know why these brands are not paying attention to and giving Susan their support.

“Eeeiii so what about Little Susan? Won’t all these institutions also jump on board with educational packages for her to fulfill her dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer? Oh Ghana,” she Tweeted.

At just age 9, Susan can already repair broken down motorbikes and hopes to own her own manufacturing plant someday.
