Rev. Obofour enstooled Chief in the Ga Traditional area, now Nii Adotey Gyata I

Leader of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Rev. Obofour, also known as Prophet Asanteman Bofour, has been enstooled Chief in the Ga Traditional area.

Now, Nii Adotey Gyata I, Obofour will become the Chief of Asantes in the Sempe traditional area. 

Obofour’s enstoolement comes as a shock to many. 

While some social media users believe a “man of God” should not be made a traditional chief, others believe an Ashanti man cannot be made chief on Ga land.

Either way, Rev Obofour and his wife are basking in their new titles.
