2020 Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), Ras Kuuku has taken a swipe at some musicians in Ghana whom he claims make “borla” music.

According to the “Puom” crooner, the new crop of musicians in Ghana are not able to record “good music” hence, the reason they rely on trends to stay relevant.

Ras Kuuku’s sentiments come following the recent musical war between rappers Obibini and Amerado.

“Borla songs and Borla artists claiming legends. They can’t do good music that’s why they depend on borla hype. Foooolish and useless music you doing for the kids of today and the next generation. Most High is watching. 😡😡😡,” he wrote on Instagram.

In another post, Ras Kuuku stated that there’s a lot of hypocrisy in the industry.

“When I record Marijuana song P3 , hypocrites will say Ah Kuuku ne Ntampi. But same people will be playing Man a Ganja plata aaah . So Allow me and that Artist nu to Smoke in Peace. You know or Make dem tell you Nana #Abundance,” he captioned another photo.
