Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix, Bozoma “Boz” Saint John has added a new title to her many titles.

The Ghanaian born American based Marketing Executive has been given a Diplomatic position by  President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Ms Boz, will work as a “Special Envoy to The President of Ghana. In her capacity, she’s being given dual citizenship, USA and Ghana.

“New title alert: HER EXCELLENCY, AMBASSADOR BOZ. I’m a newly minted Diplomat, as a Special Envoy to The President of Ghana; with dual citizenship in the USA and Ghana 🇺🇸 🇬🇭,” she announced in an Instagram post.

Ms Boz thanked the President and the Diaspora Affairs of Ghana for the honour, which she takes very seriously.

“This is truly a dream come true, and I couldn’t be more grateful to @nakufoaddo and @diasporaaffairs.ghana (especially @queennad_5b) for the honor. I take on this responsibility with great pride as a person born in the USA with parental and ancestral ties to Ghana, representing many diasporic people who are seeking links to the continent. It is possible to be both… and all things at once. Here’s to all who seek to reclaim their many faceted identities,” she added.

Bozoma Saint John has been very instrumental in the Diaspora affairs of the Ghanaian community in the USA.

In 2019, she was very involved in bringing global celebrities and business icons to Ghana since the inception of the “Year of Return” campaign.

Last year, Ms Boz led a team of Executives from ENDEAVOR, the global leader in media and entertainment to Ghana to explore ways by which they could work with local creatives to help them maximize the profitability of their work.
