“Rockstar” Kuami Eugene has stated that he is gearing up to kick out all foreign music from the Ghanaian landscape.

Over the last decade, there have been complaints over the influx of too much foreign music in the country, a situation, many believe is the reason why the Ghanaian music industry is not making headway internationally.

A Twitter user by the name, @KaMa_Sly believes that, the current influx of Nigerian music, especially in the country is because Kuami Eugene has stopped releasing new music.

“Ghana music industry is gradually going down again & Nigeria music is gaining grounds coz of TikTok & Kuami Eugene has stopped dropping bangers. I’m not one of his cult fans but boy has held the industry in resent time & it’s a Fact. @KuamiEugene we beg drop something & save GH,” he tweeted.

Responding and agreeing with @KaMa_Sly, Kuami Eugene revealed that the reason he has been silent on the music scene is because he’s recording bangers that will take over all the foreign music in Ghana.

“That’s the main reason why I’ve been quiet for some time now. Give me now till December. I will flood the system so bad, there will be no room for Foreign music. That’s if our very own people don’t fight it as Usual,” Kuami responded to the tweet.
