Sabastien Bassong, Assou Ekotto and Alex Song for Miss Cameroon UK

The organizers of the Miss Cameroon UK have announced that 3 leading Cameroonian Internationals will be Special Guests at the upcoming Miss Cameroon UK 2010 Beauty Pageant which will be held on the November 20 at Kensington Town Hall.

A true mark of their patriotism, the Indomitable Lions stars Alex Song (Arsenal), Benoit Assou Ekotto and Sabastien Bassong (Tottenham Hotspur) will be joining hundreds of their fellow Cameroonians and friends of Cameroon to witness the beauty pageant that will lead to the crowning of the next Miss Cameroon UK.

Cameroonians worldwide celebrated 50 years of Independence earlier on this year. The Miss
Cameroon UK beauty pageant this year will also be a celebration of the achievements of the
Independent Cameroon. The pageant is a celebration of the beauty and talent of every Cameroonian woman.

According to the organizers, “It is an opportunity for us to present the beauty and talent of the Cameroonian woman to the world. The pageant is an innovative way to put Cameroon on the world map and to let friends of Cameroon learn about our history, culture, traditions, and all aspects of Cameroonian life including our tourism and investment potentials.

Leading Cameroonian musicians, Grace Decca, Charlotte Dipanda and Zita K will perform on the night of the finale and the Guest of Honour is H.E. Mr Nkwelle Ekaney, High Commissioner for The Republic of Cameroon To The United Kingdom.
