TD Africa partners with Dell Technologies for Ghana launch

Published

on

On Thursday, November 25, 2021, TD Africa Distributions Limited and Dell Technologies officially launched their partnership in Ghana.

The event, which was held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, saw partners and well-wishers of TD Africa and Dell Technologies in attendance.

The launch was to bring partners up to speed on the services and products that were going to be delivered from this partnership.

Speaking at the launch, Chioma Chimere, the Co-ordinating Managing Director of  TD Africa Distributions Limited, stated that although TD Africa and Dell Technologies had a long standing partnership spanning years, this is their first time in Ghana.

“TD Africa is a one stop shop for IT solutions in Africa and Dell Technologies is one of the leading OEMs and leading manufacturers for IT so it just makes sense to have a partnership between the two. We’ve actually had a partnership for a long time but this is our first time in Ghana. So we felt we shouldn’t do it silently, we needed to do it in such a way that every one will know that such a powerful partnership exists and then they can leverage and take advantage of it.”

She also believes that the launch was timely because it is coming at a time when the world has drawn towards technology.

“It is important that we do it now. More than ever before, our world needs technology,” she stated.

Mehdi Khairat, the Country Manager of Dell Technology in Ghana, reiterated on the importance of this partnership with TD Africa.

“TD Africa is our new distributer to expand our channel and go-to market in Ghana. Dell Technologies has been here for the past couple of years, especially in the last two years during Covid, we have proven to the market that we can adapt to a new era where we can work remotely and help our customers to do so,” he stated.

Also speaking at the event, Delali Agbeshi, Country Head for TD Africa, explained that the launch was to set in motion a better milestone and partnership between the two companies.

“Today’s program is a milestone of bigger things to happen. Dell and TD partnership has been long existing but we believe that today’s launch will bring a better milestone and partnership.”

Dell Technologies is a one stop shop for technology, boasting an entire range that any one who wants to have technology should take advantage off.

Speaking on what partners should expect from this partnership, Ms Chioma Chimere mentioned “technology and more technology, speed of delivery, efficiency, competitive pricing, flexibility, and value.”

TD Africa is Sub-Saharan Africa’s leading tech, lifestyle and solutions distributor.
