Ghanaian musician, Patapaa has kicked against the comparison of his “One Corner” song to Black Sherif’s “Kweku the Traveller.”

Although Patapaa believes “Kweku the Traveller” is doing amazingly well on streaming platforms, it cannot be compared to his global hit, “One Corner.”

In an interview with GNA Entertainment, Patapaa opined that “One Corner” placed Ghana on the world music map, hence, should not be looked down upon.

“I do agree that ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ is doing very well, but people shouldn’t compare it to my ‘One Corner’. People have to respect my ‘One Corner’ song because it placed Ghana on the world music map,” he said in the interview.

Patapaa released his global hit, “One Corner” in the year 2019. The song spread like wild fire on social media following the crazy trend that it came with.
