‘3 months without your toddler child is a pain no mother should feel’ – Tonto Dikeh reacts to Akuapem Poloo’s jail sentence

Nigerian actress Tonto Dike believes the jail sentence Ghanaian actress Akuapem Poloo is serving is a bit harsh.

According to her, she wants the court to temper justice with mercy for a lighter sentence.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress said nobody tells a mother how to bring up her child; however, it becomes societal responsibility when the child is hurt.

Although Tonto condemned Akuapem Polo’s nude photo with her son, she pleaded with Nigerians to help sign the petition against her 90 days sentence.

She wrote “One thing They always say is No one can tell a Mother how to bring Up her Child, it only becomes society responsibilities when you are hurting the child.
In this case i see no hurt here, Can i take same picture? No I cldnt, not even in the next life but Am different doesn’t mean The Act is Totally wrong..
Morally Wrong? YES.
CLASSLESS? YES Sir but Not Bad enough to Go to Jail?
No I don’t think so..

In a subsequent post, Tonto Dikeh said the Government should temper justice with mercy as three months without a mother being with her toddler child is a pain no one should experience.
