“Best Rapper of the year” winner at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Medikal has said that he has saved rap music in Ghana: but for him, the genre would have been dead.

According to him, he saved the genre from dying four years ago when he came into the limelight.

Posting up on the gram today, Medikal wrote:

“4 years ago I saved Ghanaian Rap music from dying and I promise to keep it alive 🤞🏾.”

Medikal took the “Best Rapper of the year” crown from M.anifest at the VGMAs this year.
