A Herbalist Extracted Metal and Wood from My Body After Juju Attack – Guru Reveals
Famed Ghanaian musician Maradona Yeboah Adjei, known professionally as Guru has shared his personal encounters with black magic (juju) in the entertainment industry.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Emelia Brobbey on the Okukuseku Show, the ‘Lapaz Toyota’ hitmaker revealed that he had been warned by two pastors about potential spiritual attacks, which he initially ignored until he started experiencing the effects.
“One day, a pastor called me and told me I was under a juju attack. Another pastor also mentioned that I had been spiritually harmed. After that, I endured severe stomach pains for eight months,” Guru revealed.
The singer cum fashion designer recalled a specific incident during a live performance when he suddenly lost his ability to speak and became rigid while performing his hit song, Bonsam Ani.

“I was on stage, singing a few songs, but when I started Bonsam Ani, I couldn’t speak. I became mute and stiff. The band stopped, thinking I was engaging the audience, but I left the stage, and nothing worked. I was just gone,” he explained.
After multiple inconclusive hospital visits, Guru eventually sought help from a herbalist. The herbalist performed a procedure in which strange items like metal rings, hooks, and pieces of wood were removed from his body.
“Every time I went to the hospital, they found nothing. I was exhausted, so I turned to a herbalist. He removed metals, hooks, and cowrie shells from different parts of my body without anesthesia, and the procedure was filmed to capture the extreme pain I went through,” he added.
