The announcement from the two actors, who have been a “best pair” in the past has some Ghanaians doubting the status of their relationship. Fred Nuamah was the best man to John Dumelo at this wedding to Gifty Mawuena in May, 2019.

Both actors are bringing to the table a list of varied experiences in their acting field, in politics, and in other businesses.

For John, party politics is not new to him; he has been very engaged in the affairs of the NDC, propagating their messages and campaigning vigorously for his own slot in the parliamentary elections in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.

Aside that, John’s philanthropic works, his active participation in the agricultural sector and his drive to involve the youth in farming has won him a lot of points.

Fred Nuamah is also bringing his years of experience in entrepreneurship to the table. As a business man, Fred Nuamah has successfully run the Ghana Movie Awards franchise as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Fans of both award-winning actors cannot wait to see the level of campaigning they both bring to the contest, and to ultimately see who emerges winner.
