Ghanaian Soul-life singer/ songwriter, Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson, better known by her stage name as Abiana, has advised young and upcoming musicians to associate more with veteran singers.

In an exclusive interview with Keely-Jade Brewer on Asaase Radio’s Between Hours, Abiana opined that, “I think the problem is that there is nothing pulling the young and old artists together, but it’s for us (young artists) to also make the effort.

The ‘Far Away’ himaker further made known that, “Personally, I speak to Amandzeba a lot, and I even want to be on his track and I told him. For instance, Kelvyn Boy did an amazing song with Gyedu Blay Ambolley, so we have to make the effort and approach these legends.”

The song writer asserted that veteran artistes are not able to approach the young ones because they might be busy, adding that the young and upcoming crooners must affiliate more with the veterans as that way, the succession is much more smooth.

“I spoke to Kwabena Kwabena and he said we should go to the studio. So if I had not spoken to him, I would never have had the opportunity to work with him,” Abiana stated.
