AFCON: DJ blasts John Mahama’s “John 3:16” Campaign song inside stadium after match
“John 3:16,” popular campaign song for former President John Dramani Mahama during the 2016 general elections has been heard blasting loudly on speakers in the Laurent Pokou Stadium in Ivory Coast.
The popular song was heard on blast Wednesday night at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast following an exciting match between Zambia and DR Congo.
In a video that has been shared on Twitter by Sports Journalist, George Addo Jnr, “John 3:16” is heard playing in the almost empty stadium.

“John 3:16,” a “jama” style song, was performed by Dee Aja as the official campaign song for John Mahama during the 2016 elections.
Although the song was quite catchy and caught a lot attention during the period, Mahama lost the elections to President Akufo-Addo.
