Ahkan launches new EP, first copy bought at $20,000

Ahkan of Ruff ‘n’ Smooth fame has officially launched his new project, AHKAN DRAMA EP.
The launch which took place at the 4stye TV Mansion in Accra saw musicians like AY Poyoo, Mr Drew, Rich Kent, Queen Ayorkor among others.
According to the ‘Blessings’ hitmaker, the new project is a body of art that celebrates authentic Afrobeats made in Africa.
Ahkah further explained the name of the EP, DRAMA stands for “Defining Real Afrobeats Music fromAfrica”
Artists included on the 7-track Extended Playlist are; Shatta Wale, Mr. Drew, Zeetown, and TOK from Jamaica.
At the launch of the EP, first copies of the EP were bought at $20,000, $10,000 and 20,000 Ghana Cedis.
Three of Ahkan’s wealthy friends supported the project with huge amounts of money. Don Skido pledged GHS 20,000, Don Lucci promised $10,000 and Nana Dow was the highest bidder for a copy of the EP at a whopping $20,000.
