The 2018 National Training and Motivation Seminar was held successfully from 13th to 16th September at EMS Palace Hotel in Kumasi. The Seminar which is one of the national conference hosted by AIESEC Ghana annually brought together100+ current members, new recruits and international delegates from Japan, Netherlands, Côte d’Ivoire and five of AIESEC Ghana’s local committees namely: AIESEC Legon, AIESEC KNUST, AIESEC in Central University, AIESEC UCC and, AIESEC RMU. The aim of the conference was to motivate and train the new recruits of local committees by supporting their supporting their personal and professional development, have their first touch point with the national team of the Organization and also create discussion between our members and the corporate world.
The four day conference which marked the 70th edition of the conference was managed by the National Director Business to Customers of AIESEC Ghana Mr Oswell Cole, chaired by Olayinka Wilson-Kofi, an alumni of AIESEC Ghana and a renowned Information System Officer in Ghana; and facilitated by the national executives of AIESEC Ghana. Present at the Conference were two partners of AIESEC Ghana: Access Bank Ghana and Aquafresh Ghana, each having a touch point with the delegates and generously giving souvenirs on the third day.
Speaking at the opening of the conference the Senior Country Director of AIESEC Ghana, Mr Jessegad Baddoo, urged the delegate to stay open minded and use the conference as their stepping stone towards self development. He further encouraged the delegates during his closing remarks on the last day that AIESEC gives many opportunities to the youth but it is dependent on you to grab them, know where you fit and make the utmost best out it to create that impact which will give you have a successful story to tell at the end.
On the fourth day, Some delegates shared their stories of how AIESEC has shaped their lives, motivated them and thought them to push till they achieve results even though it seems all hope is lost.

It has been in existence since 1948 and is currently in more than 127 countries of the world including Ghana. AIESEC is the leading youth organization accredited by the Department of Public Information (DPI), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). AIESEC has Roster consultative status to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nation Countries.
