LEAVE MENZGOLD ALONE AND FOCUS ON THE BANKS -TRACY SARKCESS WARNS BANK OF GHANA According to YEN.com Nana Appiah Mensah (CEO ZYLOFON MEDIA)  had termed a move by the Bank of Ghana to close down one of his companies, Menzgold, a joke.This follows the Bank of Ghana’s declaration that it would soon go after Menzgold soon. Tracy Sarkcess doesnt seem to take this move by the Bank of Ghana lightly either, in a recent instagram post , Tracy is asking the Bank of Ghana to leave Menzgold alone and rather focus on the banks. She defended Menzgold by writing: tracysarkcess: “Menzgold doesn’t take deposit. They buy gold with the money you give them and work with that gold to give you a return on your investment. Which the last time i checked was around 10%. BOG should rather concentrate on the banks that are misappropriating people’s money rather than the ones actually making money for its people. .”Tracy later issued a disclaimer saying she is not an ambassador of Menzgold.

There has always been a question as to how female celebrities achive success in the industry, especially  financial success in an industry that we all know doest pay well. Apparently captain smart , The host of Adom Fm’s Dwaso Nsem show, Captain Smart, has stated emphatically that no female celebrity can survive the economy without a backup boyfriend. The outspoken presenter, on Hitz Fm’s Day Break which was hosted by Andy Dosty, claimed that “our dear female celebrities will go hungry if they don’t do so.” Actress Moesha Boduong, in an interview with CNN said due to the nature of the economy most women ‘sleep’ with rich men and sometimes married men in order to get money to cater for their luxurious lifestyle. This led to many Ghanaians most especially female celebrities bashing Moesha for speaking the truth.

KALYBOS IS NOT MY LOVER BUT A BROTHER -AHOUFE PATRI

Ghanaian actress Patricia Opoku-Agyeman known in showbiz industry as Ahuofe Patri has said her acting partner Kalybos is like “Right from day one we kept telling you guys that there is nothing going on. Kalybos is practically my brother. As a matter of fact, he says I will be his ‘best-man’ when he is getting married so I think that’s the relationship we have now,” she added.  According to Ahuofe Patri, Kalybos never made any attempt in trying to date her. “Kalybos never made a move on me. I remember when I was in [level] 100, I saw him and I was like that is a cute boy, he is always being that funny person and he is very hard to miss and so all the girls liked him,” Ahuofe Patri told Hitz FM.   Touching on her recent dealings with budding musician Kuami Eugene, she said: “Maybe I’m a good actress yeah because you can’t say…. Actress Patricia Opoku Agyeman, known in showbiz circles as Ahuofe Patri says she is still learning and needs more time to better her skills.  Speaking in an interview with JoyNews’ Doreen Avio, the ‘Boys Kasa’ actress who said she has only been involved actively in the movie industry for less than a decade, says she is currently doing her best to execute her roles in movies.   She, however, pleaded with her critics to give her some time to better her craft as an actress. “…I am still learning. I always find new ways to learn. It’s only been five years and counting and I have worked with so many people…,” she added. She is well aware that not everyone would appreciate her efforts although she is trying her best. “…Not everyone will like what you do. I’m still learning. If you didn’t like the previous movies, trust me you are going to like the next one…,” the actress assured.  Ahuofe Patri is currently embarking on a campaign to empower young female students against sexual abuse.
