A little over a year ago, I had a dream of creating the most engaging Web TV portal in Ghana. A portal with exciting content around news, interviews, game shows, drama, comedy and more.

With some heavy investment in equipment and people, I brought the dream alive in February 2018. But not after engaging the public on what they wanted to watch on this platform, Ameyaw TV. The Public helped in choosing the hosts for our content and soon we started producing our three flagship formats, News In One, Daily Buzz and Trend Mill.

Over the period, we have also tried new fun formats including our game show, The Big Wish Show, a football preview show ‘Who’s Playing’, a news quiz show ‘Who Says‘ , a news parody Not The 7 O’clock News‘, and more.

Our personal pride, #TrendingGH also streams live each week on Facebook and YouTube, counting down all the biggest trends in the week.

We have come far, trying different ideas to see what works, and we will continue to innovate with great ideas. We have two exciting new formats also coming up to showcase the diversity and range in our contents. Our special features and event coverage are also earning respect and viewers across platforms, from YouTube to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you for being a part of our community and our growth story! Remember us in your prayers and give us your support and feedback.

I say a special thank you to my dedicated team of presenters who have grown to also become publishers on my blog over the period. Thank you to the production team, we are nothing without you.

I end with a special expression of our team’s condolences to the family of our late host, Edward Afful (Ted Jones). We planned how we were going to celebrate our first anniversary together, but the author of life had different plans for you. You will forever be a part of our story and our lives. May God keep you well till we meet again.
