Angelina Jolie ‘lookalike’ Sahar Tabar arrested for blasphemy and moral corruption

Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie’s’ lookalike’ has been arrested on suspicion of blasphemy and instigating violence following complaints about her Instagram posts.

Social media star Sahar Tabar from Iran was detained on the orders of Tehran’s guidance court, which deals with “cultural crimes and social and moral corruption”, Tasnim news agency reported.

She faces charges including blasphemy, inciting violence, gaining income through inappropriate means and encouraging youths to corruption, the news agency added.

The 22-year-old shot to prominence on Instagram last year after reportedly having 50 surgeries to make herself look like the Oscar-winning actress, but she later claimed that most of her look was achieved through make-up and editing.

Images of Sahar Taba features her with a gaunt face, pouting lips, and sharply turned-up nose, with some people saying her appearance resembled that of a ‘zombie.’
