Banky W signs N100m deal with Samsung

BankyWAfter a successful almost two year run as Samsung Brand Ambassador, R&B powerhouse and EME Chairman, Banky W is not slowing down this year as his list of numerous achievements continues to grow.Banky W has signed his second endorsement deal with leading digital media and convergence technology company, Samsung Electronics West Africa which is valued at more than 100M naira.

Banky W along with Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw will be the face of Samsung Electronics West Africa Mobile Division. They will work together raising awareness for Samsung mobile products and ultimately contribute to making Samsung phones the preferred brand in the West Africa sub-region.

Officials of Samsung have described Mr Wellington as one who represents the values Samsung stands for which is his quality, depth of work and versatility as an artiste that has endeared him to fans in and outside Nigeria.

“The Samsung brand stands for qualities of innovation, change, discovery, self-expression and excellence in performance and these very same qualities are epitomized by Banky W. We are indeed very proud and privileged to have him as our Brand Ambassador.” Managing Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa, Mr. Brovo Kim says.  

Banky W has also signed endorsement deals with brands like Telecommunications Company Etisalat, CocaCola Bottling Company among others.

“It pleases me to know that my hard work is recognized and appreciated in different corporate sectors and industries. This is my second run as a Samsung brand ambassador and I’m grateful for the opportunity.” Banky W said in a recent interview.
