After a grueling week of audition, Big Brother Amplifed host, IK announced during the Live Eviction Show Sunday evening, that all the Housemates had passed and would be around for another week. IK said Big Brother had assessed all the Housemates very carefully and was impressed with all of them. However there was an almost expected twist when the 26 housemates were split into two separate houses.
All 26 housemates made their way onto the stage in the studio to rousing applause from fans. IK spent a moment chatting with the housemates to find out more about some of their highlights in the past week. He dug into the brewing love affair between Lomwe from Malawi and Hanni from Ethiopia. He also tried to find out why Luclay from South Africa broke into tears during Saturday night’s party show but after not getting clear explanation from the tough man, IK concluded that Luclay is just one of those people that cry when they are drunk.
After the felicitations, IK brought a bag full of gloves for each housemate to pull out one. Three colours of gloves were revealed. IK asked those with the Yellow and Green gloves to get up and all 15 of them were sent back into the original house, now known as Heads. The remaining 11 were sent into a new house, now known as Tails. Soon housemates started wondering what was going on, on the other side and who would be missed most. Big Brother later announced to them that they were now in competition with each other for the ultimate prize. Accordingly, there would be nominations this week and a possible eviction next Sunday.
The live show also saw performances from the Amplified Crew, Namibian rapper, EES and South African Rapper, A.K.A.
