The Big Weekend AfroBeats Festival hits Accra in December

BBnZ Live, in collaboration with Accra Breweries Limited (ABL), will bring you the maiden edition of ‘The AfroBeats Big Weekend Festival’, which is centered around re-branding Ghana as a country, that has the capability to host world‐class events, become a hot tourist destination in the West African region and aims to be the hub of business investments in Western as well as the rest of Africa.   Ghana will be the center of African contemporary music with live performances by Top African artistes, where we can celebrate African music and talents, together with a mixture of mini activities, product and food stands and interaction with celebrities.   Miniature simultaneous launch parties will be spread out across 10 locations on Friday, the 13^th of December, 2013, with venue partners namely being: Polo Club, +233 Jazz Club, Devino DnD Lounge & Bar, Best Western Premier Airport Hotel, The Honey Suckle, Shaka Zulu, Rhapsody’s, Champs Bar &  Grill and the C Lounge(of La Pleasure Beach).   The main concert will be held at the Independence Square on Saturday the 14^th of December, 2013, where the top music artistes from Africa will perform on one spectacular stage, all for the price of Ghc10 per day and Ghc20 for the entire 2 days at the Independence Square, which will be followed by a family fun day and funfair on Sunday 15^th of December, 2013.   Accra Breweries Limited (ABL) producers  of ‘Club Beer’, are the official beverage sponsors of ‘The Afro‐Beats Festival’. The Concert on Saturday, 14^th December, 2013 will see artistes like EL, Banky W, Castro, Samini, Kaakie, Shatta Wale, Mr. Silva, Guru and many other acts, all on one platform. ]]>
