Blitz The Ambassador announced as member of Recording Academy Class of 2021
Samuel Bazawule known by the stage name Blitz the Ambassador, has joined Stonebwoy as members of Recording Academy’s Class Of 2021.
The “BURIAL OF KOJO” director has been making steady strides towards the Grammys and this latest move seems to have drawn him closer to his dreams.
The Ghanaian hip-hop artist, filmmaker, and visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY received a medallion from organizers of the Grammy Awards ahead of this year’s event.
The medallion wad a recognition of his work as a co-director of Beyonce’s visual album Black Is King.He joins over 2,300 other individuals in the music industry including songwriters, engineers, producers and performers invited to the Grammys as a voting member.
“The class was selected by a committee of industry peers based on exceptional contributions to the music community,” reads a statement by the Academy.
The members are to help “build a better and more inspiring world for music and its makers.”
Blitz took to social media to share the news with his followers.
