Bridget Otoo charges Charter House to stop running a “secret cult”, make their financial records public and stop complaining about funding

Communication Specialist, Bridget Otoo has charged organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) to make public their financial records to prove that they indeed need a lot of help from sponsors.
One of the major arguments Charter House has always made with regards to staging a top-notch event has always been the lack of funding and sponsorship.
Ms. Otoo, however, believes that until we know how much Charter House invests and how much they need to run their events, they shouldn’t be asking for more funding.
Ms. Otoo asked these questions after rapper Sarkodie went on a Twitter spree to voice out his concerns on issues surrounding the recently held VGMAs.
In response to one of Sarkodie’s tweets, Ms. Otoo wrote:
” Sark, I keep hearing this line over and over. How much money would be enough for Charter house? So we even know how much @VodafoneGhana invests? Donthey make their financial records public? You can’t ask for more funds when you are running a secret society!”.
Ms. Otoo also went ahead to charge Charter House to tell Ghanaians how much was invested in the 20th anniversary celebration and asked that they leave the Ghana Music Awards to a different company if they feel they can’t fund it.
“How much did @VodafoneGhana invest in the 20th anniversary. You really believe Charter house when they sing “we don’t have money, we didn’t get sponsors” if Ghana music isn’t profitable they should abandon it and let another company run it!”
“If Charter house is complaining about sponsorship, they should abandon Ghana music for another company .. I bet you they won’t cos Ghana music awards is what is sustaining the company!” she added.
