Bridget Otoo charges Nana Aba Anamoah to fight for her staff amidst E.I.B employee strike
Broadcast Journalist at Metro TV, Bridget Otoo has called on her colleague and friend, Nana Aba Anamoah to stand up for her employees at E.I.B network.
On July, 1, it was revealed by YFM presenter, Ebenezer Donkoh popularly known as NY DJ, that the staff of E.I.B network we’re set to embark on a strike action on Monday, July, 4, over unpaid salaries.
“Staff of EIB Accra likely to embark on a strike action effective Monday over unpaid salaries. Some staff are owed over 9 months salaries,” NY DJ tweeted.
Subsequently, NY DJ revealed on Tuesday, July, 5 after the strike stating that management was not happy and had instructed all aggrieved staff who participated in the strike to stay off air.
“Management has directed all aggrieved workers who participated in the demonstration to stay off air until further notice,” NY DJ tweeted.
Reacting to the news of the strike and it’s subsequent implications, Bridget Otoo charged her colleague Ms Nana Aba Anamoah, who is the General Manager for GhOne TV, to step up and fight for her staff.
According to Ms Otoo, Nana Aba Anamoah has done it in the past and should be able to do it again.
“@thenanaaba darling, what happened to fighting for your staff? We did it back at TV3 when I first joined, you remember what I did for you? It’s time to be a hero,” Ms Otoo tweeted at Nana Aba Anamoah.
