Bridget Sharon Cofie wins Miss Malaika 2012

Miss Malaika 2012 Bridget Sahron CofieBridget Sharon Cofie, an 18-year old Senior High School graduate, was crowned Miss Malaika Ghana 2012 on Saturday night after several rounds of competition at the Accra International Conference Centre.  She won the competition after the top 5 finalists each answered a make or break question from the judges. She was followed up in second place by Regina Anne Dei Van-Helvert and in third place by Sadia Sanusi. Rounding up the top 5 were Rosemary Anima Awuku and Ama Ampofo. Frances Ackles won Miss Photogenic, while Sadia Sanusi picked up Miss Talent. After voting by all 10 finalists for Miss Congeniality, Ama Ampofo, Edlyn Lengoi Nuno, Bridget Sharon Cofie and Frances Ackles emerged joint winners. The finale, which was hosted by Chris Attoh and Naa Ashorkor Doku-Mensah, included an interview session with the host of Who Wants to Be Rich, Kafui Dey; a talent show, and prejudged activities.
