Jamaican dancehall superstar Busy Signal is set to headline one of the biggest dancehall concerts of the year on tonight, December 30 at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Center.
Dubbed ‘Resolution 2012’, the musical concert, which is the large major concert of the year, features acclaimed dancehall artists including talented young Jamaican sensation, Kip Rich, UK-based Ghanaian ragga maestro Sonni Balli, and Ghana’s King of dancehall, Samini.
New sensation Iwan, Black Prophet and Stone Boy will all be sharing the stage with Busy Signal(who’s already in Ghana) to dish out unforgettable performances that will have lovers of this music genre yearn for more. A host of Hip-life artists have also been lined-up to rock the night. Notable among them are Richie, Eazzy, Zigi and Castro. The quartet will join in the party to bid farewell to 2011 and usher in the New Year.
There is no doubt that lovers of reggae and dancehall music in Ghana are in for a real treat as Busy Signal is set to deliver his confident melding of lover’s rock romanticism with dancehall’s bolder carnal expression, live at the AICC Dome.
