July 6th 2021, marked exactly seven years since musician Castro and his friend Janet Bandu went missing.

The two had gone on a boating spree with footballer Asamoah Gyan and his brothers at the Ada estuary when they reportedly got missing at sea.

All efforts to find them have proved futile.

According to Acts of Ghana, 1975, Section 3, which states that a person can only be declared legally dead after seven years by a court, where the person in question has not been seen or heard from in seven years despite diligent and persistent efforts to find him, Castro and Miss Badu were declared legally dead in July, 2021.

Today, Wednesday, July, 6, 2022, marks the eighth year since their demise.

Although Castro may still be missing or dead, his beautiful music still lives on and has made it to the trends on TikTok.

Castro’s hit single “Bone Shaker (Sweetie Darling) has been trending on the social media app for weeks, with musicians like Mr. Drew hopping unto the challenge.
