Irene Logan talks Dec 27 & 29 showsSoul/R&B songstress, Irene Logan, is giving the ILog family, her loyal fan base,  a chance to see her live in action this yuletide. On the 27th and 29th of December respectively, she gets to stage her ‘Behind The Mask’ show at two of Accra’s popular urban joints The Republic and +233.

“The show is ‘Behind The Mask’ because a lot of people wonder why I have been quiet,” she said

“And they claim to not knowing much about me, so it’s sort of like I’m unveiling myself with this two shows. My album title is “Rebirth” so we choose ‘Behind The Mask’ because I am raising the veil for everyone to know the kind of person I am. I’m showing a never seen side of me, a more creative side of me for my fans only.”

“I released a single called “Dance” few months ago, and it’s doing well on radio. The sound is very South African and has Kwaitoo influence mixed with some of our vibes, so we decided to shoot the video in South Africa.

“We worked with a video director called Denise and we spent a week in South Africa to shoot the video. It was kind of expensive but I believe in doing the best of works and happy I did it. It was an expensive investment but you have to make those decisions to be able to spread your wings.”

“We should usher ourselves into the new in a beautiful way. This I promise will be a fantastic Irene Logan music experience and a well-organized show. Come over with your family and friends and spend time at The Republic and +233.”
