In the early hours of Monday, 28th June 2022, two children aged 8 and 5 were burnt to death when a fire gutted their home at Ashaley Botwe in the Adenta Municipal District of the Greater Accra Region in Ghana.

Speaking to AmeyawTV about the unfortunate incident, the uncle of the victims, Noble Botwe said the kids, Nana Amoh (8years-old) and Nana Boadi (5years-old) were left sleeping in the room while their father moved to check on their sick mother in an uncompleted building close by.

The couple woke up to the shocking and sad spectacle of their home and kids burning into ashes. When the Ghana Fire Service arrived at the scene, there was only debris from the burnt home and skeletons of the boys.

Upon hearing the sad news, American-based Ghanaian business magnate and owner of EZ Streets Records, CEO Pryme moved the scene to express his sympathy and donate to the family.

In an interview with the media, CEO Pryme said: “When I heard the news, I couldn’t even sleep. I and my wife felt obligated to do something so I came here and wanted to show my support and lead the way for other people that want to support too. I couldn’t wait to get here and try to assist because I have a family myself and if something this unfortunate happened to me, I would love for others to also assist me. I’m not going to sit aside and not assist because that’s not even Godly and I’m a God-fearing man.”

EZ Streets Records owner called on other players in the entertainment industry to identify people and families in need around them and support them.
