In the early hours of Monday, 28th June 2022, two children aged 8 and 5 were burnt to death when a fire gutted their home at Ashaley Botwe in the Adenta Municipal District of the Greater Accra Region in Ghana.

Speaking to AmeyawTV about the unfortunate incident, the uncle of the victims, Noble Botwe said the kids, Nana Amoh (8years-old) and Nana Boadi (5years-old) were left sleeping in the room while their father moved to check on their sick mother in an uncompleted building close by.

The couple woke up to the shocking and sad spectacle of their home and kids burning into ashes. When the Ghana Fire Service arrived at the scene, there was only debris from the burnt home and skeletons of the boys.
