Actor Cle’ Bennett’s performance in the highly acclaimed, Dora nominated play, Kim’s Convenience is worth the drive to London. The multi talented actor from the Oscar nominated movie Barney’s Version, Flashpoint, Shattered, Lost girl, The Line, and Guns takes on four roles in the hit play. Critics agree, the two-time Gemini Award winner slides effortlessly into the roles of Rich, Mr. Lee, Mike and Alex, leaving audiences completely drawn in. Kim’s Convenience, set in a Regent Park Convenience store, is the journey of a fractured but loving family confronting the future and forgiving the past. The family patriarch, Appa, the self- appointed gatekeeper fears for the family legacy and tries to impart his wisdom, asked for or not, on his family and anyone who enters his store. Cle’ Bennett brings true authenticity to Ins Choi’s characters. The actor gives each of the four roles independence of himself and of one another in a standout performance that has earned rave reviews. Performances begin: Jan.15 – Feb. 2, 2013 Main Stage Series The Grand Theratre 471 Richmond St.]]>
