Darey tops 2011 NMVA winners, sends in acceptance speech via sms

After a lineup of exciting performances from the likes of Dipp, Vector, Wizkid, Minjin and Joel , Sunday night’s Nigerian Music Video Awards (NWVA) ended with Nigerian crooner, Darey topping the list of winners with two nods. Darey wasn’t present to pick up his award but sent in his acceptance speech via an SMS message.  Rapper M.I wasn’t present to pick up his nod either but it was picked up by singer, Omawumi.
