Darkovibes bemoans Ghanaians lackadaisical attitude towards work; says they’re uninspired
Ghanaian musician, Darkovibes has expressed his concern for the lackadaisical nature of Ghanaians in the entertainment industry.
According to the “Je m’appelle” hitmaker, a lot of people in the creative space are too laid back and do not take their craft seriously, which goes a long way to affect the music industry.
Darkovibes believes Ghanaian creatives comfortability with their situations, makes them uninspired to do and want more.

“A lot of Ghanaians show lackadaisical attitude towards work. We’re comfortable. We’re okay. And I feel like people are uninspired. Like when it comes to this business that we’re doing if people really understand what’s in the business, that an artiste is an entity and so many things form that entity which is going to make everyone money including the government… then it becomes a business. But we don’t treat it as such. Somebody can do cover art for me, you can give them the money, but they’ll do it the time they want, producer you are mixing a song, you’ll mix them the time you want,” he said in a in interview with 3Music TV’s Big Conversation.
Touching on the state of the music industry, Darkovibes stated the one thing it is lacking is structure.
“Structure. I think we need structure. Every system and every company need structure. Without structure that’s why we’re struggling,” he said.
Darkovibes is currently promoting his newest single titled, “Yao” produced by Killbeatz.
