Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has addressed the debt accusation made by his fellow artist, Oyindamola Emmanuel, also known as Dammy Krane.

Dammy Krane has consistently alleged that Davido has not fulfilled his financial obligations for the songwriting contribution he made to a previously released track. He claimed that Davido had been unresponsive to his attempts to resolve the matter privately.

In a recent social media post, Dammy Krane took to Twitter to publicly call out Davido and outline the debts he believes Davido owes him. He even mentioned that he had filed a formal complaint against the DMW boss at a police station approximately a year ago.

In response, Davido clarified his stance, stating that he had never received payment for the three verses he provided for one of Dammy Krane’s songs nearly nine years ago. He also emphasized that he had not received any royalties for his contribution. Davido expressed this by saying, “I never got paid for that, also my 3 verses I’ve gifted you all your dead career … oh yeah, plus my royalties, we charge now, so that’s about $150k x3 a verse… also house rent and food when you stayed in my house in Atlanta when you were homeless.”
