Nigerian superstar, Davido is one to celebrate big milestones, therefore a day as symbolic as his 30th birthday would not have gone unnoticed.

It is therefore heartbreaking to see that all his plans for his big 30th have gone silent after the death of his 3-year-old son Ifeanyi on November, 1st, 2022.

Davido had made plans to initiate his 30th birthday celebrations which falls on November, 20th with the ‘Away Festival’ which was scheduled for Saturday, November, 28, 2022 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

The concert would have been preceded with a big birthday bash with his family and friends.

Last year, the “If” hitmaker took a different route for his birthday celebrations. After been the “giver” for so many years, Davido requested that his friends and colleagues give back to him for his birthday, and they did, generously.

What started out as a request for N1 million Naira each from friends quickly jumped to a tune of N201 million Naira.

Although the money would have done him a lot of good, he decided to donate all of it, including an additional N50 million of his own to orphanages across Nigeria.

This gesture will kickstart his ‘We Rise By Lifting Others’ tour in North America.

Meanwhile, although the singer is off social media, his fans worldwide are celebrating his big day with beautiful messages on Twitter.
