Dbanj features ‘Azonto white boy’ in Oliver Twist video

Published

on

azonto white boy dbanjThe much-anticipated music video for Dbanj’s hit single, ‘Oliver Twist’ is out and surely it will give some more spotlights to Ghana’s phenomenal Azonto dance.  Dbanj isn’t the only Nigerian artist to catch the azonto bug as fellow Mo Hit label-mates, Dr Sid and Wande Coal recently posted a video of themselves dancing azonto on YouTube. The Oliver Twist video which sees Dbanj doing some subtle azonto move himself also features the ‘Azonto White boy’, who got American football star, Chad Ochocinco tweeting about his love for azonto with his YouTube video last year. It looks like his video of him dancing azonto on the street also caught the eyes of Dbanj. The video directed by Sesan Ogunro also features appearance from some big stars such as Mannie Fresh, Big Sean, Keisha Buchanan and closes with Kanye West Appearing with Dbanj. Don Jazzy was conspicuously missing.]]>
